Q3. What is the meaning of different "Topics" listed in the "Discussion" tab?

Discussion forum is a place where MOOC learners can interact with and learn from each other, share knowledge and resources and clarify their queries with the course team.

Queries - The goal of this broad area is to get clarification on operational queries (like technical errors, logistics related etc.)

Each week, we will be adding a new topic area. The specific focus questions for these areas are available inside the "Course Tab" under the relevant week.

If your postings does not fit the above broad areas, you can use the "General" topic area.

Q4. How will I post in a discussion?

You can post to a discussion either from inside the "Course" tab or from the "Discussion" tab.

Posting from inside the course tab

The below animation shows how to post into a discussion, under the topic area, from inside the course tab. The example used is from one of our earlier courses.

Posting from the "Discussion" tab directly

To post from the discussion tab, click on "Add Post" and select the topic area under which you want to post (Queries or General).

Q5. Should I do all the activities in the week in a single stretch?

Absolutely not. MOOCs provide flexibility to the learner as to how and when to access the course materials. As learners, you can access any resource at any time. The only critical matter is the due date for graded activities. These cannot be changed and hence learners have to submit it on time.
